I devour books, chocolate chip cookie dough and grilled cheese sandwiches dunked in tomato soup. I answer "human" to the question "what ARE you?" even though half-filipino is what they want to know. I'm an aspiring container gardener, writer and photographer. I'm a bit of a nerd: grammar and copy editing are fun for me, and a geek: Google and Lord of the Rings make me happy. I can blow through any Harry Potter book in one day. I'm passionate about recycling and taking care of the environment as God's creation. Ian (the love of my life) and I have 2 frogs and want a cat. We're starting the next stage of our life in Boston and are excited to see what God has in store for us.
I enjoy the out-of-doors and having dirt underneath my fingernails. My favorite season is summer. I think we were made to be creative people, constantly looking for ways to be relational to people and the environment. I enjoy urbanity, yet have a humble appreciation for my roots in rural Kansas. I used to think reading was one the most boring things anyone could ever do - now, I think it one of the most important things anyone could ever do.
